The ladies AGM will take place this Thursday (17th) at 8pm at Barna Golf Course.

The U21s were defeated by St Michaels after extra time last Saturday in the replay of the West Board U21 A semifinal.
The match was orignially fixed to be played in Barna however with the recent inclement weather the match was switched to Furbo pitch.

Barna started the matched slowly and before long were losing by four points to one, however with some sterling work from Ray Conneelly, Paddy Naughton, and
Tommie Burke Barna gradually got to grips with the game. In the second half a high ball into the St. Michaels goal landed in the back of the net to give
Barna a three point lead however with eight minutes left on the clock Barna were reduced to fourteen men and with two minutes of time remaining St Michaels
drew level. In extra time St. Michaels outscored Barna by 1-1 to 0-1. The final score was Barna 1-9 St Michaels 1-12. On a difficult day for football
beside those mentioned above Kieran Hanley and Richie O’Carroll in the forwards contributed immensly to the Barna cause.

The U14s are going on a end of season trip this weekend to Manchester whilst in Manchester they will be playing a
challenge match against the local GAA team and they will also be catching a match at old trafford. The U14s would like
to thank everyone who supported there sponsored walk and all everyone
who donated money for the trip at the church collection which was held last sunday

The numbers drawn in this weeks lotto were 9,16,19 and 30. There was no jackpot winner but there was six match
three tickets they were held by Mary Curran, Tom Thompson, Noel Condon, John Davoren, Susie Ward, Nicola Williams.
The sellers prize went to Dermot Curran. Next weekends jackpot will be 15,400 and the draw will take place in Donnelys.
